Like sand you slipped through my fingers,
All grains bit by bit,
My colors mingled with it,
All drained and left the hollow chest,
Happiness, joy and love:
My mere possession,
Like a thirsty ocean,
You took it all away.
I let you slip through my finger,
‘Cause you were breaking the cage.
You accused me of being a captive,
Yet you stole everything away.
You told your story as a victim.
But My story which starts with you,
Ended on you. Built on you.
And was you, is still left untold.
Dispersed I am,
Blown away.
Your ruthless self,Left me scared.
And I let you.. slip.
